Referral to this service is made through the Surgery and is held in Ogmore Vale Clinic.

Well Baby Clinic

Tuesday morning between 10:30am & 12:00 noon.

Dietician's Clinic

Dietician Clinics are held once a month at the Surgery.

Well Man / Well Woman, Coronary Heart Disease, Diabetes, Asthma & COPD Clinics

Held regularly with the Practice Nurse, by appointment.

Contraceptive Services

Please contact Reception to make an appointment with the Nurse. For contraception and emergency contraception, patients need to make an appointment with the Practice Nurse or, if unavailable when needed, the Doctor on duty.

Cervical Smears

Carried out by the Practice Nurse by appointment.

Minor Surgery

Wednesday afternoons as required, between 1:00pm and 6:30pm. Emergency cover during this period is available through the duty Doctor.

Patient Checks

Any patient aged between 16 and 75 years of age who requests an appointment and has not been seen for 3 years will be offered a consultation with a Doctor. All patients aged 75 years or over who request an appointment and have not seen a Doctor within the last year will be given a consultation.

Seasonal Influenza Vaccines

This year’s campaign starts in September 2011, so please contact Reception to make an appointment.

Primary Care Mental Health Team

Clinics held weekly on Tuesdays.

Minor Illness Clinic

Appointments are available with the Practice Nurse most days for minor illness, e.g. ear, nose and throat, urinary symptoms, minor skin complaints, contraception and emergency contraception, coughs and colds.
